Petén Health research on diabetes: Presentation to UCSF Colloquium

With the hard work and diligent effort of Maritza and Lauren, our team collected interviews with 15 CHWs and the research was selected for presentation to the UCSF Family and Community Medicine Colloquium on May 27, 2021. We found the insights of the CHWs on their patients, their communities and their self-assessments on diabetes fascinating and very helpful in planning the diabetes program now being instituted in Guatemalan by the CHWs.
