What's on TV today? School opening!!

Watch party! We spent the morning watching -- live via WhatsApp -- the ribbon cutting ceremony of the new school, sponsored by Petén Health and Seeds of Learning and built with the town's volunteer labor. It replaces a derelict building that threatened to fall on the kids!

Despite the drizzly weather, the whole town turned out for the celebration. Now 125 students will have a clean, dry, safe place to learn. A great collaboration and very satisfying project!
